Wenzel is Rufus' best and most faithful friend - according to Rufus. Wenzel only helps our Anti-hero with his escape attempts from Deponia only because the spectacular and mostly painful failures immensely amuse him. He's also after Rufus' stuff, which shall belong to him after Rufus finally succeeds in going to Elysium. When he got the dowsing rod Rufus' father, Seagull, invented he found a water vein directly under his house which made him a very rich man. He reappears inDeponia Doomsday.
